LIEKS Software Development Center became the first
company in Eastern Europe to obtain ISO 9001 certificate
after an audit of its Quality Management System by
Bureau Veritas Quality International (UK) in July
1994.
Quality Management System of LIEKS was developed
together with the British consulting company "Third

corresponding to the international quality standards
has resulted in the completion of several large projects
on time, within budget and up to the highest standards
of quality, which is acknowledged by numerous positive
references of our clients.
To solve most complicated and hardly formalized tasks
LIEKS uses a wide range of methodologies and techniques:
- PRINCE methodology (PRojects IN Controlled Environments)
- in Project Management;
- SSADM (Structured Systems Analysis and Design
Method), IDEF0, IDEF1x, Gane-Sarson DFD Method -
in Project Modeling;
- Object-Oriented Software Engineering (OOSE),
Unified Modeling Language (UML) - in Software Engineering;
- BPR/LIEKS - in Business Processes Reengineering.
As the next step, the company is working towards
assessment of its software processes in accordance
with the Capability Maturity Model (CMM) developed
by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI).
